Chronic otitis meida (COM) is a common pathology reporting in ENT clinics. Patients commonly present with reduced hearing discharge and pain during an active infection or with reduced hearing which affects them in daily activities and work. Tympanoplasty is one of the most commonly performed ear surgeries. With better patient education and awareness the number of patients opting to undergo the procedure has increased tremendously.
