The management of public sector collaboration emerged as an urgent approach adopted by the government at this time because it relates to the demands of the community related to the government's development performance which has not been able to reach the optimal point. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of collaborative management between the Buton District Government, including the regions that are now part of South Buton and other actors in coastal resource management, especially in the Coral Reef Management Program. This study uses a case study approach. The results show that the implementation of public sector collaboration management in the coremap program is a collaboration designed by the central government which is then followed up by the Buton District Government together with other parties from both formal and non-formal institutions in implementing the program. The implementation of public sector collaboration management that took place in the framework of the implementation of the coremap conducted from 2006 to 2012 in stages two and three from 2015 to now in the third stage both in terms of definitions, characteristics and processes in general has fulfilled the elements of public sector collaboration management.
