Gingival enlargement is a common clinical problem, usually associated with specific conditions. It has been suggested that vitamin C deficiency is associated with gingival inflammatory changes; however, the Scurvy is very uncommonly encountered in the modern era. Here, we report a case of extensive gingival overgrowth caused by vitamin C deficiency. This condition finds a unique place in literature, because it has been associated with a variety of local and systemic factors. The aim of publishing this case report is to present the clinical, histopathological features and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency gingival enlargement, which disturbed the esthetics, and masticatory function of the patient.
