The ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity have been measured in the binary systems of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) with triethylamine (TEA). From the experimental data, various acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (b), intermolecular free length (Lf), free volume (Vf), internal pressure (?i), Relaxation time (?), Acoustic impedance (Z) , Gibb’s free energy (?G) and Vander Waal’s constant (b) were calculated. The results are interpreted in terms of molecular interaction between the components of the mixtures.
